Wonderful staff, excellent rheumatologist
I had an appt with Dr Alar today. Her front staff were very friendly and helpful. They made me feel very welcome. Dr Alar, as always, was attentive and addressed my issue with a caring and professional attitude. I highly recommend this physician.
Everyone you talk to is nice, but they NEVER answer the phone. Literally, you could call 30 times throughout the course of a business day and they will never pickup. If you leave a message you will be waiting for days to see if anything happens. One time out of ten they will call you back. Even if you somehow do get through to someone on the phone, they pass your message along and then nothing ever happens. You will spend days if not weeks just trying to get a refill sent. Beyond frustrating.
Highly educated and they Really Care and Listen! This is the best rheumatology office and medical staff I have found. They look at everything as a whole, target the symptoms AND underlying causes…. and really care about healing their patients and getting them relief. They have a system in place for when you are flaring, whatever type of flare that may be. A medication that covers my stomach was missed in renewing from the office. I called the office, as a courtesy, and was placed on hold. Yet, to no avail, I was told to ask my General Physician to order it. HELLO?....for years Dr. ALAR ordered the Nexium to coat my digestion system, to cover the Napryet her response through her staff was, "She can have her Primary Physician doctor order that."
