I was in Dr. Ackerman’s care for three months with continuous complaints of the same problem which overall was never figured out what was wrong with me. During my visits I did not feel taken seriously nor did I ever receive real in depth attempts to find/fix the problem, besides pain medication, unless demanded by me to do so. I also received many incorrect bills from her services and during my attempts to resolve that with garden state urology I encountered many rude staff members along the way. Dr. Ackerman was nothing short of incredible!
This doctor provides estimates for cash paying patients and then sends you billing for bogus charges afterwards. Totally dishonest and deceptive billing practices. Avoid. At all costs. A patient should never be billed with a G2211 billing code for a SEVEN minute long consultation after already being billed for a 60 minutes billing code at $270 cash. More social media influencer than honest doctor.
