My wife and her sisters hired Angry Monkeys Painting to paint the interior and exterior of their parents’ house. Over one year later, the job still is not finished and they’ve heard nothing but excuses from the owner John Duffield as to why it’s not done. Avoid this company at all costs. TERRIBLE!

TERRIBLE! Lots of empty promises and no follow-through. Almost 2 years later and painting still isn't complete and the work that was done was careless (windows painted shut). We naively paid in full (yes, 100% our mistake) and now there's no motivation for them to come finish the job. Every time we speak to the owner (John Duffield), he gives nothing but excuses.

Save yourself the trouble and money and avoid these painters at all costs. They provide a good price on the work, they seem reliable and honest, they talk a big game, but it's all a ruse. Over a year and the painting at our house is still incomplete. The owner John Duffield has been giving us the runaround for over a year on why the job isn't finished: he's too busy, the weather hasn't cooperated, blah blah blah. After a YEAR?! Come on.

I would give Angry Monkeys 0 stars if I could. Much like one of the other reviews, the pricing was good but they never came back to finish the work and what they did paint, they painted sloppily. For example, they painted all the windows shut! Unfortunately, we trusted them to keep their word and paid them in full (our mistake). As usual, you get what you pay for. AWFUL WORK! Save yourself the money and angst and hire anyone else -- a group of literal angry monkeys would do a better job. The work that was done was low quality and there's still a punch list of painting items we're still waiting for him to complete over a year later. He gives excuses as to why it's still not done, and you know what they say about excuses, they're like @$$holes, everyone has one and they all stink.
