Great local establishment with great locals for conversation. We visit every year. Have a seat at the bar!
We made a reservation for 10 on a busy Saturday night. When we arrived I wasn't sure it was the right choice. They were short staffed and things were pretty busy. The three young servers who were working were incredible. So sweet, patient, and efficient. They worked as a team and did such a great job. As an ex restaurant person, I was so impressed. The burger was absolutely delicious. Maybe one of the best I've had.
The food was amazing! We ate the shrimp stuffed jalapeño poppers and shrimp cocktail were great. The redfish was wonderful. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. We never waited for anything. We'll be back.
When I want coastal charm, these are the places I look for. It had it all. First the set ice was top notch, the waitress was sweet to my kids and took us out back to feed the turtles in the little pond. Then there was the food. I got a blackened redfish which perfectly cooked and the rice tasted so savory. The atmosphere was the epitome of coast charm. Truly this place is a gem. I will be back!!
$9.00 for a Draft Blue Moon and $8.50 for a draft Nueces Heffenweiser. One and done, will never get back. You guys are hosing customers
