Very slow & inefficient process, young surgeons examine and talk to the patients but they are not helpful at all, cause they anyway need Senior surgeon’s decision who never appear, very hard to contact, chat with young surgeons. All young surgeons said we can discharge but have to ask the Senior surgeon” “we still waiting for Senior surgeon’s answer”, We waited whole day just for Senior’s answer to go home! I came in yesterday around 1:30pm after being at gp for extremely bad tonsillitis, I’m prone to getting really bad flare ups that generally turn into glandular fever. Everytime I get these flair up’s I end up hospitalised. I only had three round of antibiotics and one round of steroids and no fluids whatsoever via iv. and the doctor came around at 8am and told me I need to go home regardless at looking at my throat which mind you is 10x worse then I was yesterday. Great experience! I had a day surgery at this hospital and I was so happy and grateful fr the care I received from each nurse and doctor I came in contact with. Their level of skill and professionalism made me feel safe and ressured me I am in great hands. Special mention to Jacqui,, Mylena, Kyne, Peter and Doctor Penny. I'd especially like to thank Peter for his care after surgery. I was a bit confused and in pain and he immediately provided a warm blanket and pain meds andI was able to recover very quickly.
