This is for the “boutique” with the better clothes and other items. Until yesterday, I thought all volunteers were helpful and friendly. Until yesterday I would have given this store 5 stars plus. I have shopped here for years and have written checks over 100 several times. Yesterday after finding flatware for 60 and bragging about how long I had for search for it, the well-dressed clerk put on her most arrogant smile and walked up to me while I was still shopping and said, “you know we accept cash” and when I looked shocked... read more
Prices have went dramatically, now the store is comparing cost to ebay to justify higher prices. There are not as many items due to fewer donations. I assume this is still a non-profit but I could be wrong. Will make my donations elsewhere in order to help the people in need.
I’m amazed at some of the negative reviews for this place. I visit Floyd all the time and I’m always excited to come in here because I never know what I might find. I’ve been to thrift stores in every place imaginable, and I have never found a thrift store that I like more than this one. This is the best Thrift Store ever. I'm a big time thrifter. And Angels always has a great selection, is clean and tidy, wonderful volunteer staff and the prices are low and it all goes to a good cause. Can't beat it!
