I recently visited Balmain Optometrists, and while the staff was very friendly and professional, I ran into a big issue. I brought in my own frame for new lenses, but after two weeks, I was told the frame broke during installation. They ordered a replacement, which I appreciated, but I still had to pay for the frame, even at a discount. I feel strongly that I shouldn’t have been charged since it wasn’t my fault—this was a damage during their process. This was years ago but still worth mentioning that he got very angry and refused to produce a script when we said we were buying glasses online. We couldn't afford their markup and didn't deserve the bullying.
