Woman in deli was rude and acted like we were bothering her, they didn't go by the numbers, very unorganized will never come to this one again.
Great store. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was comparing it to the Angelo Caputos in Elmwood Park which is way better!!! But that's also due to the clientele around South Elgin. ( more plain , country , and suburban folks).
When i buy burger, I don't expect it to turn gray/brown in my fridge within 24 hours and within the shelf life date. When's the last time the health dept visited you? Appears as if a visit is overdue.
Don't stop here on Tuesday night before a sale ends because they pull down all the sale signs and they're out of half the product
The store is nice itself, the management has a lot to learn about employment. Sad to see young kids starting out in the workforce being treated the way they are by mangers who either hate their jobs or think they can talk to kids anyway they want. Now I understand why "Caputos is ALWAYS hiring".
They suck they're costumer service is god awful and when I quit they're refusing to give me my last pay check legally they're obligated to cut you your pay for hours you worked but they don't care about their employees or their costumers all they care about is selling people cheap crap at outrageous prices even with an employee discount it'll be cheaper to buy my lunch at Wal-Mart I'm no longer proud to be American I'm embarrassed to be one
Love Caputos. Their Produce is always great deli as well. We are around an hour & 40 minutes from one, wish one was closer
