On Thursday, September 18, 2025, I had a very upsetting experience at this doctor’s office. When I arrived, I politely explained to the receptionist that I was late due to traffic delays in the Culver City area. She immediately asked for my insurance card, but I had accidentally left it behind while rushing to get to my appointment. I’ve been going to Dr. BESSER for a few years as part of my annual screening. After my recent visit, I received a bill for $600 for only a routine check up, even when my insurance approved my GP’s referral. It’s been a few months and I was told by my insurance agent that they were unable to reach anyone at the office.
Went to get a procedure with my eye here. The procedure went well and the doctor was nice. However, the front office over charged the service. They said they will refund the overcharged amount but they never done that. Calling them many times but still haven’t heard any update from them.
