I have been going to Dr. Shine for years now and am very happy her service. She runs special testing when necessary and at the appropriate times, every couple of years or if I am having new symptoms. I have had one heart stent and 2 heart catheritizations. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Shiue has taken good care of me and I have no complaints.
My PCP referred me to Dr. Shiue for high blood pressure. The first week she made sure to get as much money as she could; I had to wear a heart monitor foe a week, had ultrasounds of my legs/etc, there were NO problems there. I asked for a new blood pressure med because the one I'm on is too strong and makes my pulse too low, 41 & below. She tried to get me to take Cardura 2 days before cataract surgery, but that medicine can't be taken even 2 weeks before cataract surgery as it could cause something called "floppy iris syndr... read more
