Behaves much someone still wanting to be part of the cool kids. Made the decision to DC all my child’s medicines because they were being your typical adolescent and stated, “I just don’t want to take any medication!” in what was clearly an ‘ I’ll show you you brat’ moment rather than a medically indicated decision. I don’t recommend Dr. Liess for older adolescents and young adults. She tends to get gossipy and doesn’t focus on listening and creating solutions for her patients. It seems she is more suitable for much younger patients.

I made an appointment over a month ago and when my previous records arrived at her office I received a courtesy call telling me that I was not eligible even to be seen for an intake. The secretary offered me no explanation and honestly was disconnected from any emotion from the extreme turmoil I'm going through. I didn't know what records were received and continue to feel that my past records dictate what other professionals think of me (on paper) without even meeting me. Very dehumanizing.
