Today is 20 Aug 2025 and I'm a new patient referred by the VA and I have been on hold for OVER 30 min waiting for someone to schedule my initial appointment . My initial call was made a few minutes after 4pm and NO ONE has answered - what the heck has happened with good service?

I have wet amd in both eyes. I needed help with my low vision issues. Dr. Koplos did expense testing to learn exactly where my vision is and what can help. Dr. Koplos prescribed a new set of lens for specific use but kept my current lens. She is easy to talk and explained how to cope with my vision loss.
Very unprofessional, she lacks a great sense of courteous to her clients aside from testing over and over for stuff she tested the first time (about 2 months before she tested for the same things). 100 thumbs down 👎
During the visit, there were so many unnecessary “procedures.” When I finally was able to see Dr. Koplos, she kept leaving during my visit for whatever reason. For 2 months, after my initial appointment, I had been calling for contact fittings, and had to physically go in to get answers! Doctor gave me attitude about her policy that she never disclosed at the appointment . Long story short, I wasted my annual with her because I couldn’t do the process again with someone else since my insurance wouldn’t pay for it. Save yours... read more
