Don't Trust A Preapproval from here! – Ang Mortgage solutions issued a preapproval for a mortgage to a buyer, and based on this I entered into a real estate contract with her that included an interim lease. After the buyer was unable to close and stopped paying rent on the home, I hired an attorney to evict her. My attorney looked up court records and to our dismay found the buyer had 2 foreclosures against her. Both were a year before the preapproval was issued, so would have been on the credit report.
