The lack of standard billing communication is unacceptable. I recently received a collections notice for a procedure performed in May, despite never receiving a bill by mail or a phone call regarding a past-due balance. I got a bill for a medical procedure 1 year after it occurred. The bill looked like a complete scam and I almost threw it away. I’m still unsure if it is legitimate, but after reading reviews here, it seems they have a serious billing issue where the same thing is happening to other people and they are being sent to collections. The bill is very unprofessional and vague, and is almost like they don’t want to be paid.
I received either a text or an email, it was so long ago I can’t remember which one. It kind of looked like a scam so I was not going to send money to somebody that I did not even know if they were a real company or not. I called the phone number and left several messages to please mail me a bill with the date of service, etc. so I would know this is a legitimate bill. Figure your billing out. It is unacceptable to randomly generate a text message over a year after a procedure providing a random link at which to pay an outstanding balance. It is unprofessional. This makes me question your provider competency and judgement. I intend to inquire with all future medical providers which group they contract with for anesthesia and I will seek alternate consultations if they cite this service. Got texts that said I had a bill. No bill was ever sent in mail. Seemed like a scam! If you can’t properly run your business then how can you properly deliver anesthesia? Paying the bill was painful! Took a hour! Completely incompetent!
