Update: Follow up for my new pump was several months out. It was then pushed back. I stated I would need insulin. Only way I received it was because the pump trainer got involved. It wasn't from lack of trying. My new pcp is very upset over everything. She stated that is considered a lifesaving med. I am not sure if Dr. Joseph had a choice in the situation. Original. Amazing doctor. I just started seeing her. I was placed on an insulin pump last week.
The phone system they use from TGH is a nightmare you will wait 30 mins each time to talk to someone and when they answer they have a horrible attitude and just transfer you again to wait 30 mins. Our Healthcare system is such a joke it's sad. 5 calls and 2 hours later still haven't spoken to anyone to schedule an appointment
She takes her time with you and answer all your questions. She gave options and left it up to me on which path I was comfortable with without pushing new medication on me. She is very thorough and found a diagnosis I didn't know I had from over 20 years ago.
