My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. We have stayed at other hotels in the area before, but never had as good of an experience as we did here. The tranquility of the property and the privacy it offers is fantastic. No noisy traffic and assigned parking which is difficult to find in the area. The staff was attentive, courteous and thorough. You just can't beat The Cottages! When the sun is out, the location is perfect for a daily walk...or two, and when it's foggy, grab some food at a local restaurant, bring it back to your room, light a fire, and relax. Front desk staff is always friendly on your arrival, and appreciative at checkout. I've recommended Andril to many friends and family.
I really wanted to give this place a good review but the way it ended, I cannot. First, the positives. The cabins and property are really cute. The insides are a bit outdated but still nice. The location is perfect, beautiful scenery. Intended to take my family back, HOWEVER, do NOT use the hot tub unless you plan to bring your own testing kit. Beautiful, quiet, cozy Andril is my home away from home in PG. Amenities are curated for a comfortable stay. The forested setting across from Asilomar and a few minutes’ walk to the beach is perfect. Place is sparkling clean and staff are accommodating and friendly. Complimentary breakfast bites land snacks are available in the office.
First of all, the room we stayed in (room 12) was very cozy and pretty much everything that a modern fireplace cottage should embody. Secondly and most importantly, the service was exceptional! Besides the friendly staff, they were very accommodating when we asked them to ship my child's stuffed animal we accidentally left behind, which was totally my fault. My kid loves the aquarium so we will definitely stay here again.
