Extremely Disappointed — Unreachable and Unresponsive Customer Service I’ve been an Andrews Federal Credit Union member, but after today’s experience, I’m genuinely disgusted and disappointed. I called over 23 times between 9:30 AM and 3:42 PM, trying to reach anyone who could help me with a time-sensitive issue. We arrived right at closing to open a savings account, and Ms. K. Newman welcomed us with the utmost professionalism. Despite the late hour, she patiently took the time to assist us, ensuring every detail was handled with care. She not only opened the account efficiently but also provided valuable information about the programs and services that AFCU offers. Her knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made the experience exceptional. Ms. K. Newman truly exemplifies outstanding customer service.
Held an account for over a year didn't use it much, finally began to use it and it's been one poor customer service experience after another. I had to make about 6 contact attempts just to obtain paperwork on one account because someone repeatedly got my email address wrong. I made payments on a loan, but because they had multiple profiles the accounts weren't merged. Please answer the phone, unhelpful availability through the years so ended up closing account after years of poor customer support. Rates are decent, but customer support does matter. Regretfully cannot recommend.
