If I could rate higher I would. It is really difficult these days to find a quality mechanic that you can trust and Andrews Autos fits the bill completely. I've had both my wife's car and my own serviced here and have been beyond satisfied. Every member of the staff I have dealt with has been lovely. A big thing for me is that both times I had a car serviced I was given a call to go over what might be necessary and how much it would likely cost which was very much appreciated. The team always goes above and beyond. They’re friendly, professional, and take the time to explain everything clearly. Good old fashioned service. Don't unnecessarily replace things. Only do so when they actually need it instead of blindly following a schedule or lining their pockets. Discussion involves the owner in the process prior to and along the way.
Just another low effort mechanic. Tried to support local - But no intiative, only does what "the computer says" doesnt check fluids, brakes etc. Supposed to have my spark plugs changed at 169,000kms. Came in at 172,000kms didnt happen. People wonder why mechanics cant be trusted.
My ZB Commodore had issues with the auto transmission- locked in a low gear and failing to change with the engine behaving as if it was overheating. This occurred very close to the Christmas /New Year period and occurred miles away from Pakenham. The RACV garage said they couldn't work on it until well after the New Year and I'd have to leave the car with them. Fortunately I was able to get the car safely going and rang Andrew's.
