Only leaving this review because I had previously made an appointment BEFORE my surgery and the nurses at the hospital said the doctors office would follow up with me. I had no clue the doctor I made the appointment for was the same that took care of me in the hospital. The appointment was for yesterday, I didn’t make it because they didn’t even send any reminders, no texts, no calls, no emails! If you have Lyme don’t go to him. The testing here is not good. They only test for minimal Lyme infections. I had to send blood elsewhere to get positive test. When I told him that he didn’t want to listen and said I should go see a rheumatologist.
Not sure if previous patients are rating the correct doctor but I find Dr. Yanofsky to be very well-versed in his field and carries a very delicate hand at treating patients. While I'm not one that needs to be coddled when I see certain professionals, he surprises me, each time I visit, how on top of my care he is, making certain that I am comfortable and abreast of my medical results. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!! I AM APPAULED AT HOW RUDE THIS SUPPOSEDLY PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR WAS TO ME. I HAVE SOMETHING GOING ON UNDERNEATH THE SKIN ON MY EARLOBE AND THIS RUDE PERSON WHO I WON'T REFER TO AS A DOCTOR ACTUALLY COPPED AN ADDITUDE WITH ME BECAUSE I WASN'T BUYING HIS BOGUS THEORY ON WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY PROBLEM. HE DEFINITELY NEEDS TO LEARN "BEDSIDE MANNERS"!!!!
As a result of a surgery for esophageal cancer I have recurrent pneumonia. Rather than spend a day in the E.R.every time I become ill my primary care doc encouraged me to see Dr. Yanofsky for antibiotic infusions. I found Dr Yanofsky to be kind, gentle and very through in his care. If he feels I require hospitalization he speaks his mind in spite of the fact that he knows I’m not going to like it. My son also saw him for Lymes disease. Like me he liked him
