I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chen’s for a couple of years. He was recommended to me by my previous oncologist who moved away. I have been very pleased with Dr. Chen’s expertise, recommendations, and knowledge of my blood cancer. He answered all my questions, went over my recent blood tests that monitor my disease, we discussed side effects of the maintenance medication I take, and he made a suggestion to try a medication that will possibly improve my peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Chen is remarkably insensitive. He did not introduce himself at our first, ordered a wrong medication, and provided very little insight into cancer management.
This was my first visit with Dr. Chen. He had reviewed my records and was ready to answer any questions I had . I had tests coming up and he was already "on it" and explained what the tests would tell him. I felt assured that he was with me in my health journey.
I appreciate the professionalism, communication skills and high quality of care provided by Dr Chen.
Dr. Chen has provided excellent medical advice in the treatment of my blood disorder this past year. His passionate and personal treatment has led to a significant improvement in my personal health.
Dr. Chen has been my oncologist for almost a year now. He is professional, kind, and lays everything out in a way that is easy to understand and never makes me feel rushed or like I am “just another patient”. I can’t recommend him enough for anyone navigating the channels of cancer and cancer treatment. He listens and addresses all of my concerns and ensures that I understand each step of treatment. Very bad very rude not an expert in porphyia
Dr. Chen is an extremely kind and compassionate provider. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time with his patients answering all your questions. He is one of the best.
Took his time with my mother and is very gentle and kind. We are very disappointed he moved to Bend. We may just have to follow him.
