Dr Youkilis saved my life. I had a brain stem tumor that no doctor would touch in southern Missouri. Then I found him. He was very comforting and reassuring that he could the tumor out. It was on my brain stem and growing downward towards C1. I can’t express how dangerous this surgery truly was. This man is a true angel and a wonderful person. He is a Great doctor. He helped me walk again. With the best bed side manor you can ask for. He talks to his patients not at them. Made me feel comfortable about even having the surgery. He's just an amazing person.

In addition to being an engaged listener who patiently fields questions, Dr. Youkilis is very encouraging. I have consulted multiple surgeons, orthopedic and neuro, regarding cervical spine issues. Each has advised a surgical approach to address the pain and numbness, etc. None has given the impression that I have any other options. Dr. Youkilis encouraged me not to concede to the notion that surgery is my only option. He is excellent! I saw many doctors before him but he was the only one who knew instantly what was wrong. My surgery and recovery have gone amazingly well. Great bedside manner and went out of his way to explain exactly what was going on every step of the way.
