Great selection! Soundgarden is a wonderful baltimore institution. One would be hard pressed to find a cd that Soundgarden doesn't carry. Be sure to check out the selection of used stuff - I've found some great deals on used dvd sets, as well as cds. The staff is knowledgeable and can help you find most anything in the store. Not that you'd need them though, because the cds are very well organized.
Amazing selection, slightly intimidating The Sound Garden is almost a legend in Baltimore among the music savvy population. Unfortunately, I am not very knowledgeable about music, so it is a bit overwhelming for me. The staff know their stuff but can be a bit brusque to the uninitiated (me, again). I find it to be the most fun with a friend who knows a lot about music.
Awesome local music store This place has some awesome stuff. Hard to find records, vinyl, stuff you won't find in chain stores. Their prices are unbeatable--you can get used CDs in new condition for less that half the origional price! The staff can be pretentious, but what else would you want from a cool local indie music store? It adds to the appeal. Great location, great store. Check it out.
A little bit of everything! Sound Garden looks like a run down store on the corner in Fells Point, but it has so much to offer. Not only can you find used CDs at great prices, but they have a great deal of hard to find CDs that other used stores might not even have. I've also had a good experience with the employees. There have been times when I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for and they have been more than happy to help me find it.
The definitive Baltimore music store This is where all the cool kids in Baltimore go to buy their music. The store is loud and cluttered, but it's supposed to be that way. They have pretty much any CD you would be looking for, as long as it's popular with the younger crowd. This includes hard to find and local bands. They also have lots of records, videos and DVDs and their used section is top-notch. You can bring in CDs or DVDs you want to sell, though this will not make you huge amounts of money.
Great Selection! The Sound Garden has a great selection of new and used cds, dvds, and records. They also have t-shirts, stickers, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can also trade in or sell your old cds and dvds.
best CD selection in Baltimore Is your taste in music more Shins than Shania? Sound Garden is the best place for you to seek out CDs in Baltimore, then. Selection is both new and used, and the store's buyers generally have excellent taste in deciding what to sell. Only a couple of times have I come here looking for something and been disappointed.
