Dr. Andrew Nadler was my father´s doctor before I became his patient. I requested Dr. Nadler as my primary care physician after observing the care and attention given to my father as he aged. I was very satisfied with the preventative care I received from Dr. Nadler during the 25+ years under his care until I moved away. Dr. Nadler will be retiring in a few weeks. I miss his dry sense of humor, his non-effusive but very caring manner which I observed from his early career with Kaiser.
Dr Nadler was my primary for more years than I can remember. I will miss him, as he's retiring. He was always concerned, helpful, skilled, and compassionate, particularly during the time when I needed assurance that there was no medical error when my husband died during a blood transfusion--on a strike day! I still regret not taking him to EMER at my nearby non-Kaiser hospital, but Dr. N made a special appt for us to review my husband's file and to suggest a session with a psychologist.
The Doctor is more interested in Satisfying Kaiser Permanente Goals than his Patient's Needs. You are just a number that he has No time for. He is gone most of the time, so you end up seeing another doctor. He will not give you the Tests that are needed. Rations your Health. Overall a Crappy doctor.
