I think he's really great. Take some time to meet with you. Responds to any messages promptly. Refills things as soon as you request. I wouldn't change doctors unless I absolutely had to.
I have been going to Dr. Pavlatos for nearly 15 years. He uses good judgement, sound reasoning and is not quick to write a prescription as a first resort which I am aligned with 100% (which is not to say he is stingy with prescriptions - he is not. However, when called for he doesn’t hesitate to order. He just doesn’t dispense meds like a pedz dispenser.) He stays away from fad treatments and does his research. I appreciate his humor. I love Dr. Pavlatos! He is the best, I've been going to him for many years now and he has consistently provided great medical care. Highly recommend him if you're looking for a doctor.
I had a very frustrating experience during a recent visit with this physician who was not my regular PCP. I came in with a cough that has lasted over a month. First let me say I am SO tired of Ascension Medical Group and their lack of care. I was having a back and forth with Karen Garcia about scheduling an appointment. I had an appointment scheduled with my regular pcp and it was canceled. They didn’t even have the courtesy to reschedule. She said everyone is “booked”’ then just stopped responding to my messages.
