So disappointed in this office, when I first came in a few years ago it was great; friendly staff , appointments always available, great doctor. However, this totally changed. Called to get an appointment due to my blood work being abnormal and needing infusions. Even after explaining the urgency the receptionist brushed me off and said that next availability was in a month. Which I find ridiculous for a Hematologist that’ I have been to before. I called Thursday 1/29/26 to make a new patient appt. Female who answered took a message and said new patient intake would call me back. I called Tuesday 2/3/26 spoke to a Jessica, who said their new patient coordinator wld contact me. Ms Jessica didn’t take my phone number & I still have yet to receive a single call back. As a former employee, this dept shld be taken a little more serious.
I tried coming here for an appointment. The receptionist made me uncomfortable that I would not be heard. Their tone was a very clear disinterest of being there. Very dismissive, they even cancelled my appointment after I asked a valid question about bloodwork. Another receptionist told me I did not need to get bloodwork done. Nor did they ask if I needed a referral for bloodwork. I’m sure dr Lu is a phenomenal doctor. But I would not go based on off this. I genuinely look for empathy and care in medical facilities. Dr Lu is amazing. The staff is ehhh. I just called at 457pm. The call went through. I was hold til 5pm. Someone picked up the phone. Fumbled with the phone. Then hung up. I called back and conveniently the calls are now going to the after hours line. Very rude and u professional.
