DR. ANDREW L WEST lacks compassion for his patients, its all about money with him and when he see his patients all he see is a dollar sign and not concerned about their health he is VERY DISMISSIVE and he lack compassion, sympathy, and tries to get you out of there so he can see his next dollar sign. Dr West seems like a knowledgeable doctor, with his recordings of sessions so he wouldn't forget anything. However he couldn't remember our conversation with him and he didn't listen to his own recordings. We told him that convenant hospital in Levelland does iron infusions. He ignored us. His nurse told us that covenant hospital denied to take my wife. But when we called the hospital they said they never received a call from any nurse from Dr West's office. I have called twice to try and get in on a last minute basis and neither time was Dr West able to see me. I understand being gone for the holidays but Dr Cochran who’s also in the same office won’t see patients unless they are her established patients. So what I’m trying to say is if you need a doctor who only can get you in for scheduled appointments it’s a good office but if you’re sick then don’t count on being worked in. I will be finding a new PCP!
Went in to see Dr. West for a lot of medical issues and he helped me methodically rule out certain avenues and put me on a better path. He was very thoughtful and listened very well. Didn't assume anything. Most doctors can leave you feeling like another number, Dr. West helps you really get to the bottom of the issue. My family will stick with him and his team.
