While we appreciate the outreach, contacting patients that late in the evening to discuss a Google review felt inappropriate, especially after what had already been a stressful experience. It all started with: “One day at a time, and we’re going to take care of you.” That’s what Dr. Shapiros told me, and he’s kept his word. I feel like he’s the person on the medical team who has taken the best care of me he’s approachable, kind, and compassionate. He tries to understand cultural differences with empathy; he’s attentive and, above all, an excellent professional. He saved my life. I love you all (Dr. Shapiros and his assistants, Liz and Sher). Dr. shapiro is the best surgeon! He was so great with my son who has Down Syndrome and was anxious about having his gall bladder removed. David did extremely well and completely recovered in two weeks.
Dr. Shapiro and his staff are amazing. My surgery was to remove a cancer and was substantial. There was literally no pain, the scarring was minimal and I had an excellent night sleep right after my surgery. Highly professional, amazingly capable and a delightful staff to work with. Thank you, Dr. Shapiro for taking great care of our family.
