Recently I was able to obtain Dr. Desruisseau as a care provider for my partner. I can't emphasize enough on what a caring and compassionate man Dr. Desruisseau is. I am from the veterinary side of medicine and feel very fortunate to have Dr. Desruisseau caring for my partner and feel that his medicine is top notch. He deserves more than 5 stars. My mother had a stroke and then picked up an infectious disease while she was recovering in the hospital. She was home for a few days before her husband of 51 years was killed. During this time, our interactions with those in the health care industry have been subpar at best, and my mom has been worried about what the future looks like. I agree with everything Claudia said about Dr Desruisseau. If they had 6 Stars I would give it to him. I was in the hospital for nine days surviving Covid 19. One of the most caring, experienced and attentive doctors I've ever had.
I was septic with Staph & he saved my life. Even before I was conscious he came every day to tell me he wasn’t going to let me die. It’s been 40 days & I’m getting better each day, with 20 more days of IV antibiotics to go. He’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. Warm, caring, smart & leaves no stone unturned when he’s searching for both cause & cure.
