Andrew designed and oversaw the installation of a large four-square garden, which features cedar fencing, three large cedar arches, a garden house, brick-edged formal beds and pea-stone garden walks. Andrew Grossman turned our bit of scrub grass on a city lot into a lush and enchanting Eden. It looked like a mature garden within one month of installation. He also played with scale so that our tiny plot now looks enormous. Visitors to our garden can't believe their eyes. He surpassed our expectations at every point in the process. He is a gifted artist with a depth of knowledge and a collaborative spirit. I just wish I had another property for him to transform.

Andrew was a pleasure to work with; he did what he said he was going to do, when he said it would be done, within the established budget. We hired Andrew Grossman in 2007 to re-design our entire yard. He provided us with a complete lay out plan with the names of plants and shrubs and where they would be planted. The one acre portion of our property that we were designing has areas that get full sun, partial shade and mostly shade. Three years ago, we decided to complete our landscape with gardens and a pool in the backyard, quite a challenge given the steep slope and wetland restrictions. For a while it was fortunate for us that the back yard was, well, in the back. The many sinkholes left from rotted tree stumps were the only places on the whole slope not weed-infested; the whole area surrounded by a tired, moss-covered and rickety fence. I think a rusting jalopy could have gone unnoticed back there. The dogs loved it, but we usually stayed confined to the deck; its moss conveniently matching that on the fence. Andrew is a truly gifted and inspired designer. Our pond was an eye sore before Andrew’s vision turned it into a focal point for the garden. It is now a joy to behold in all seasons with rich hues of pinks and purples in spring and summer followed by stunning shades of russet and gold in autumn and winter. Andrew and his team are a pleasure to work with.

Andrew’s vision is unparalleled and our property is a testament to his ability. After many years of enjoyment people still stop to tell us how beautiful it is.
