Dr. Shetter explained that my MRI scans showed a benign tumor and gave us a few treatment options, describing each in simple enough terms that my 12 year old self could understand. He told us that the most effective treatment option was to do brain surgery and remove the tumor while it was still one solid mass and growing slowly. We scheduled the surgery and it was a complete success. I spent one night in the ICU and was then moved to a regular room where I stayed for 2 days before walking out of the hospital to go home.
My son has TBI and he put in a baclofen pump in him to relax his spasticity. Pump line got cut by his vertebrate. My son was serious pain, it took Dr. Shetter one week to finally admit that the line was cut. At that time, he said it never happened and did not even order x ray to check. He also control the unit for the pump adjustment, no one dare to call him during weekend to help his patients. Again, my son has to suffer for days. Happened twice. He is a heartless, arrogant careless doc.
