Great doctor. I saw Gellens every time i went in for an appointment. He is very professional and friendly & made me feel comfortable
I am in my 50’s and was nervous about a pelvic exam especially by a male since it has been so long. But unlike “Drizzy” who posted negatively, I wasn’t looking to find a friend in Dr. Gellens, I was looking for a good doctor. I didn’t find a good doctor, I found a GREAT doctor. He is very thorough and caring. He is helping me finally get to the root of some problems I have been experiencing in very little time. He, himself, has called me to advise and follow up. This is by far the best Doctor I have ever had. He is very caring. His sense of humor may be dry at times but not rude and non caring like the other review said. He cares about his patients and takes his time. I would trust him 1000 times.
He is the worse doctor I have ever had. He shows no compassion or empathy. He is very unfriendly! I had to switch doctors because he ended up being disrespectful and rude at my last appointment. I would not recommend him to anyone. This pregnancy has not been so great and you would think he would be more understanding. one of my friends also had a bad experience with him and had to file a complaint! Thumbs down for him!!
I am 29 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I went to my third appointment with Dr Andrew Gellens yesterday afternoon. It was honestly the worst experience of my life! He was supposed to be my OB GYN for the last 3 months yet I had NO ultra sound scheduled with him during this whole time! (I ended up using an independent company to get my own ultrasound and paid for them out of pocket cause I really wanted to see my baby and know the sex!)
