Thankful that I trusted my instincts and made an appointment with Bayhealth Orththopedics for a second opinion on my broken wrist. Dr. Park found a fracture that a PA at First State Ortho did not find. First State wanted me to toss the splint completely only a couple weeks after the injury and start PT immediately. Dr. Park found the additional fracture and made a treatment plan to keep the splint on for another month and then start PT. Im very happy with him. He listened to me and heard me then discussed a plan. He was fast but thorough.
Dr. Parks was extremely dismissive of my condition. I waited over 45 minutes in waiting room to go back. It was vey apparent that Parkls didnt even read my chart and/or gather information from his own nurse as he stated my condition was nerve related. I was shocked because I was sent to him because they had already ruled out nerve condition thru completed testing.
