Professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Other experts in his field say he has good surgical outcomes. Spent adequate time explaining the condition and options for treatment. However, he came across as somewhat condescending. If I return, I would prefer to see one of the female physicians in this practice.
This man was supposedly treating my Interstitial Cystitis for 8 years, and yet never examined or scoped my bladder once after another doctor made the initial diagnosis. Various meds and treatments were tried with no or little relief. When I explained the excruciating pain each visit, and that I could barely function, he said,"We keep having this same conversation." If you are an average patient, this physician and his practice will work great for you. However, if you have a complicated case history, he and it will not. Their care landed me in the ER because they refused to do a proof of cure U/A, and then it landed me in emurgent care because they put me on the same ineffective med for the third time. When that resulted in another infection, they had to put me on it a fourth time because they only ordered a partial sensitivity panel, despite allergies and resistance to four antibiotics... read more
Dr. Hundley did not take my health concerns seriously and after being treated for pyelonephritis in the ED, he down played the significance of this and any future concern for UTIs. He even indicated that he didn't believe I had had as many UTIS in the past year ad I said because he couldn't get the records. My primary care physician said he must not have tried very hard because he had the test results in his records. I an a RN and found Dr. Hundley's attitude insulting!
