I have been rescheduled multiple times, even though I have expressed that I am in constant physical pain and have been waiting a month for this appointment. The nurse today did not care, and was rude. All the other specialist I have seen for this issue keep telling me I need to see my GP, but I can never get in to see her. The worst service ever! The doctor was unprofessional and would not listen to my concerns and dismissed me without giving me a medical opinion. Dr. Spafford criticized me in every possible way. I left the Urgent Care feeling 10 times worse than before I got there. He treated me like a lesser human being. I will not return. The office manager (Lynn Jones) also got involved and proceeded to treat me in the same manor.
The nurses,physician assistance and Andrew Dukes are no longer my primary care. Terrible customer service. They do not listen nor care to help. I requested insurance referrals WHICH ONLY YOU CAN GET THROUGH YOUR PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN. THE NURSE TOLD ME THE DOCTOR WOULDN'T AND THERE REASON WAS BECAUSE IT'S TOO MUCH WORK FOR THEM AND IT'S ONLY A BENIFIT FOR ME NOT THEM. Came for outpatient. Surgery for 11:00 am took 7 hours for a 30min procedure.
I though she was a great Doctor until she sent me a letter dropping me as a patient. Which I'm on medication that can cause me to have seizures if just stopped taking. I'm very disappointed in her and her unprofessionalism She will not even take my call. Now I have to find a new PMC Doctor in 30 days who can get me in or I will run out of my medications.
The office and entire staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Porter is a very unique doctor because she listens to you and wants to treat the "root of the problem" not just the symptoms. She really cares about her patients and wants them to be healthy. However, I do not like her scales!! It is too accurate!
Dr. Porter is the most caring & considerate dr, that I have ever seen. She treats each patient as if you were the only one that she would be seeing. She never rushes through a visit & honestly listen to her patients. Dr. Porter is the BEST dr. that I have ever been to & I KNOW she takes my health seriously.
Family Physicians has been the best experience I've had in Mobile. Dr. Carl is knowledgeable in both General Medicine and Psychiatric Medicine.
