I have visited Banner emergency last week and they made us to wait about two hours. I have been there to remove a cast on my special need son. Dr Brainard remove to cast but he cut several places on my son arm. My son is nonverbal and he screamed all the time during cast removal. Dr keep said us that it is normal for him to scream but it was not. After he removed the cast we saw that my son arm has been cutted very deeply in multiple places. I met Dr. Brainard during a visit to the ER at Banner this past weekend. I cannot say enough about him as a doctor. An emergency room doctor has a lot going on, and yet he had time to do those "extra" things that can make a patient feel much more at ease, and so well cared for. Not only was he wonderful at the hospital, he even called me at home two days later to check on my progress!! Who does that in this and age!.?
