Dr. Darquea is a wonderful endocrinologist. He has been very thorough and proactive with my husband's type 1 diabetes and thyroid disease. He is always friendly and pleasant to see. He makes sure we have the latest upgrades/technology to help manage his diabetes.
This doctor (and or his staff) are complete jokes. It’s a damn shame there is no other endocrinology options nearby. They have rescheduled my aunt as a new patient, has to even been seen yet, at lease 4 times, and the last time they didn’t even tell her! She has been referred since July! It’s January and she had her first appointment rescheduled for APRIL, didn’t bother calling. That makes SIX months of rescheduling to even be seen for the first time! These guys at this place are absolutely terrible. I have to go here because there isn't any other endocrinologist in town. I need a particular type of medicine or I end up in the hospital. It took me 2yrs to get into this place then Dr July abandoned his patients. Now another 3yrs later I finally get into here again with Dr Daquea. He prescribed me the medicine I need but has to sign off a prior authorization for it. I get a call that I can go get it whenever I'm ready, because he signed off on it.
