I had Whipple Surgery performed by Dr Karachristos at TGH the end of August. Pre surgical consultations and information was thorough and professional by all members of his team. Post surgical care, monitoring and follow-ups were all first rate. Dr Karachristos gives his patients a business card with his personal cell phone number on it. Outstanding experience from start to finish. The surgeon is excellent—thorough, calming, and explains everything clearly. The staff is equally impressive: helpful, responsive, and professional. We couldn’t be happier with the care we received and highly recommend them.

Dr Karachristos SAVED MY LIFE point blank ! In 8/2022 I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that metastasize to the liver. At that time we were under the care of a different cancer center and was referred to TGH. During this process I had several other Doc spout statics at me on survival rates, even before all the test and imaging was in, robbing me of hope. Dr Karachristos is an amazing surgeon and a miracle worker. He is also truly compassionate and really cares about his patients. He is one of the best in America for Pancreatic Cancer! Thank you for helping my husband!
