She is incapable of listening. I went in for an appointment to discuss depression. She was almost 40 minutes late and stayed in the exam room for not even 5 minutes. I clearly wasn’t done explaining my symptoms and she just cut me off and put me on a medication. Perhaps the worst doctor I’ve ever had.
I have been going to Dr. Sandoval for a few years now. I have been very pleased with my experience with her. She asks a lot of questions. She is known to be very direct. I like that and some people do not. When I was in the hospital under the care of a hospitalist, she stopped in to check on me although she was not responsible for my care at that point.
Went to the ER and was told i needed to get an MRI immediately (ER couldnt do it, I needed a referral). Went to Sandoval and she waited 3 months to refer me to even a neurologist.... Later in the notes of my appointments, she claimed I didnt want the MRI because it's expensive. My neurologist said the medicine I was given he would give to a toddler and he gave me a referal for imaging immediately.
She only spends like 4 minutes with me for a 10 minute ofice wait, and 7 minute nurse exam and it doesnt help my anxiety. I feel rushed and kinda forced to hurry. I also dont like the judgemental looks or the i dont believe you tone of voice. The longest i was in their office was 20 minutes.
Been going to Dr. Sandoval for a number of years. While she might be strict with her patients, she really does care. I had ongoing issues that no other Doctor could figure out and in just a couple of appointments, she figured out that I had something very rare and very treatable. Our entire family is in her care, including my kids.
Dr. Sandoval is the worst doctor I've ever had.
