Extremely overrated – Ok, so I first visited this restaraunt just the other night. I had high expectations. My expectations were not met. I am a serious Italian food lover and have been to some of the best places around. This is not one of those places. First of all, I found out that the head chef is 26 years old and has no formal training, he worked his way up from being a bus boy. That explains the food. Best Italian – Very good Italian restaurant. Visit this specific location a couple of times a month. Service is always good, and the food is excellent.
excellent flavors – I really like Andiamos, for the pure and simple fact: their food is exellent. Though I find their portions a bit too small for the pricetag, if you ask for a refill on your breadbasket, you might actually be full after an appetizer and your meal. This is the closest to real Italian food I have tasted in the Detroit area. Yes, there will be a wait on the weekend, yes, they are not cheap, yes, the service could be friendlier and faster, but the taste of the food makes up for it.
Andiamo Best Italian food there is! Too expensive to eat their on a regular basis, but first choice for special occasions. The staff is impeccable. Would like to see the Lettuce Wrap back on the list of appetizers. That was absolutely to DIE for. Haven't seen the entertainment there yet.
Excellent place to eat When I first went to dinner at Andiamo Italia I was impressed by the valet, how courteous they were.The food was excellent and the service made me feel like a celebrity. The food is pricey but overall I will come back and dine with them again.

Excellent service, fine dining, real italian! – This restaurant, advertises its supreme italian cooking, and it's no lie. A beautiful ambience accompanies a fine menu, with excellent selections of pastas, veal, and various poultry. The seafood is excellent also. Great for a romantic date, or small group gathering.
Don't Believe the Hype!!! – If you go to Andiamo's be sure to bring low expectations so your not disappointed. The food is consistently cold, slow/poor service, overpriced, and lacking in the food quality you would expect for an uplevel Italian Restaraunt. Even though it is extremely overpriced, the protions are undersized. The menu options are generated by amateurs which explains why they would use a completely overpowering sauce on a Fillet or veal to mask the flavor of the meat. Very Classy Place We use to have our work holiday parties here and they were super classy. The food was always wonderful although sometime you had no clue what you were eating. I know the place is very pricey though. The staff was always polite and helpful. I miss having our parties here.
