This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. The amount of racists that work for Broadstreet is unbelievable. The anti-Filipino and anti-Asian hate that we received is despicable. The move in inspection showed us burnt and damaged countertops, in the kitchen and bathroom. The baseboard heaters were scratched and chipped. The balcony had a minimum of 50 dog poop stains spread across the entire balcony floor. The staff took pictures of all that damage during the move in inspection but did nothing to repair any of it. I wanted to leave a review for Spencer, the site manager at Hillside Walk. Spencer was extremely professional, helpful, and attentive throughout my experience. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. What stood out most was his communication and positive attitude. We are so impressed with both Jovy and Jasmeen at Keswick Green. They were extremely helpful throughout the whole process from the application to moving day ! After looking a few other rental properties in Medicine Hat, I saw a Broadstreet property and the difference was night and day which prompted me to initiate an immediate rental agreement with Broadstreet. The property was clean, looked brand new, perfect size for a single person, the amenities were awesome with a common room and pet facilities, a gardening plot, well lit parking lot ... it was lacking nothing. I was a tenant of Horizon View for 2 and a half years. I broke my lease early and paid the early lease break fee. I maintained my apartment while I resided there and I also ensured that it was clean upon my departure. I expected to receive the security deposit back in full. However, the site manager, Dammy, claimed that they had to deduct $90 from my security deposit for "cleaning fees".
