After a not so good experience last time at the grill at South Shore, we decided to give the ownership another shot and went to another resort they own (Pine Point). That experience was 5+ stars and took the sour taste out of our mouths about what happened at South Shore. Today we went back to South Shore and were greeted with a smile and a great welcome. No vegetarian meal Options, very surprising for this day and age. Bartender did not know what a vodka gimlet was and was also unable to make an old fashioned.

This is a great way to spend Independence Day 2026. This is where folks from up North like to hang out. I got a great bacon cheeseburger with fried with a side cheese curds. Can of Pepsi included. Tasted fantastic. Hand made patty served medium. Perfct♥️ Fair sized portions. Tastes like summertime!

We only travel here for dinner across the lake from our place near Bear Island. The burger basket is a great deal. You get a half pound burger, side, and a beer for 15.00. Free parking.
