It is hard to please everyone in such a little place. The people of guemes give it their all and what more can you ask for.a food related comment is that the burgers are amazing!
Anytime of year, Guemes Island is a great escape. But in spring or early summer, it is a delight! The weather has improved, wildflowers appear and the crowds are few and far between. It is just a quick ferry ride from Anacortes. Be sure to stop by the store and pick up snacks for your hike up Guemes Mountain or your bike ride around the island. On your way back, you will be ready for burgers and brew! Plan ahead and there may be live music, too. The friendly staff is ready to greet you.

OMG this place is seriously magical. For a "general store" this place sure has got some amazing benefits: all-ages, full bar, back patio/deck/ocean view, gourmet/locally sourced food, amazing music/kitchen/staff/ownership, snacks, beer-to-go, live music..... this list just goes on!!!
