I had gestational diabetes during pregnancy and had to do weekly non-stress tests to make sure the baby was doing okay. There were a couple scares in the weeks leading up to delivery, but all of the nurses were very comforting and knowledgable and took great care of us. As far as my actual birthing experience, it was as good as it can be. There was a lot to keep an eye on during labor, as I was induced.
