Very good experience overall. Very thorough in analisys, offered several treatment options, did not rush. I obtained a good comfort level with Dr. Anderson by my second visit. Try to make your appointment early in the day to avoid a longer wait time, he takes his time with patients - this is a good thing but can cause delays sometimes. Office staff is accomodating and made extra efforts to get my insurance company on board. Very good experience overall.
Rich I went to this physician once. I've never been treated with less respect. It took me tons of calls and time to find him and he would not even listen to me. I am certainly no physician but I know my body and my problem with depression. Then tried to sell me a DVD after being there for over 2 1/2 hours. It's a shame that some physicians forget that just because someone is ill does not mean they are disposable.
ignorant pill pusher He didn't recommend anything besides some medication that was not helpful and ended up being for a misdiagnosis. I had to go and get a second opinion because he wouldn't disregard his notes which only consisted of him repeating the checklist for the disorder in the DSM-IV. He is very unwilling to consider his patient's insights on their dilemmas; stay away unless you want to wait an hour to maybe or maybe not get some Prozac.

He kept me waiting for over two hours, took calls on his cell phone during our visit and just pushed pills at me without bothering to listen to my opinion which medication would best help me. Then when he finally did engage me in conversation - it was only to sell me a DVD he made that he wanted me to buy!
