June/July 2023, Could not agree more with Jeffrey K's review of Anderson Boat Sales! Service Mngr./ Owner (Dave) assisted me, though he determined and informed me of what cable I needed for my ShoreMaster hoist, he had to have a sales person locate part number and order it due to "distributor" reasons. After two weeks of shipping delays and other excuses, I was informed the cable was on back order. March 28th 2023. Its obvious from all the other sad reviews that I am not the only one disappointed in the service that was given at ANDERSON BOAT SALES ********* ********. Some of this falls on me, for waiting so long to pick up my 2 props after having them reconditioned. Middle October took 2 props in and received 1 call 2 weeks later telling me they were complete. Do not buy anything from this place!! Customer service is terrible once they make the sale. All they care about is making a sale. Once they get their money they do NOTHING about the boats issues (on a brand new 2016 $60,000 boat) they basically said your on your own. Sad to have a boat with a warranty that we will be fixing on our own!! Go anywhere else!!
We bought a boat from them 3 years ago and have been storing with them every year since then. In those three years they have cut our conducer hose, the speedometer hose, cut our seat, claimed they replaced it, only to find a hack patch job on it, that's already cracking (when we just got it two weeks ago) including over spray on the poles, somehow put a hole in the cover and also patched that (never saying a word about it). Kudos to Anderson Boat for the AMAZING makeover on our 2003 Odessey boat. We bought the boat new from them 13 years ago and returned to them to repair our motor, replace the vinyl on our worn seats, make a new cover and Bimini boot, and replace the worn carpet with vinyl covering. The motor just purrs as we cruise the lake and the boat and cover looks fabulous! We are very happy with our "new again" boat! Great job guys!
I ordered a new motor to be installed on my boat. The motor was purchases under a Boat Show Sales Event Promotion that included all new rigging. None of the free rigging was provided or installed and they even tried to charge me for a new oil tank that was part of the promotion. Fortunately when I contacted Evinrude they concurred and got them to install what should have been installed originally. When I picked up the boat it was a total mess. I have bought parts here for a few years now. This year i decided to buy a new boat. The salesmen there sold my boat within a week of me dropping it off. I was in the water in my brand new Stingray ONE DAY after i picked out the one i wanted. They made the buying and selling process so easy! I will be a life long customer! THANKS ANDERSON'S
