Do not hire him. He said he could not find any comparable so he started to make some kind of adjustments that weren’t accurate. Ithink appraisers can only go back six months to one year legally and he went back two and three years to compare to houses that didn’t even come close. There are other methods to use when you do appraisals, but he failed to use those other methods.
