We had a lovely winter stay here. It's so close to the beach and all of the foreshore and walks, and shops are just up the road. Sure the place could use a little maintenance but we enjoyed being snuggly under the air con and we had everything we needed for our stay and it was nicely private because the motel was quiet in off season (and cheap as chips). Arrived about 2.30 room ready, clean, lot of room . Main bedroom is a double bed walk through in to dining room/ lounge/kitchen then walk in to another bedroom 2 single beds and a bunk bed then walk through to another area is the bathroom and toilet also has a door that leads into the carport with 2 chairs and a small table and close by is a swimming pool and small playground for kids. You can park undercover but there isn’t much room need a small vehicle.
Lovely units for a very reasonable price in Lakes. Short walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable. We were surprised at how big the unit was. Would stay at again.
Old style and could do with renovation. bad things; room we had was mostly clean but had signs of some mould in it, a normal towel would of been great instead of a giant wipe, shower kept going cold, bed was like a rock to sleep on. the 2 rules where if we ran out of coffee, toilet paper etc and the $30 charge for not doing your dishes is ridiculous. 2 good things it was close to the town, and had undercover parking. definitely not worth what we paid, thats for sure
