Absolutely stunning and worth every penny. Emma was so kind at check in and set us up with all the info we needed. Enjoy breakfast on the porch and lazy afternoons with drinks from the honor bar on the porch swing. Very beautiful home with tons of history. Classy place without being pretentious. Thanks to everyone!
Went here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was amazing, our room was always clean, and the location is a stones throw away from downtown Beaufort!
We really liked the location of hotel in proximity to down town. The bed was super comfy and sheet soft, but the towels were not soft and thought for a boutique hotel they would have been. In addition to the that, we had a cracked make up mirror that wasn’t secured to the wall and ceiling had dry wall repairs unfinished. Also there was a stain on the carpet that was removed after we brought to their attention. We had a little visit from a critter that wasn’t removed from floor after cleaning crew came. So glad we chose the Anchorage for our stay in beautiful Beaufort! Everything about this venerable stately Inn is top-notch! The staff are so kind and helpful. The made-to-order breakfasts are scrumptious. The owners, Amy and Frank, are hands on and clearly invested in their guests' comfort. The porches overlooking the Bay are not to be missed.
