When I brought my vehicle in, I just asked for a quote to replace my muffler because the sound was obviously indicative of a leak or some type of damage. The service advisor spoke very fast and I was led to believe that there would be an additional charge of $224.95 if it was not a muffler problem and further testing and diagnosis was needed.
