Just recently trying to get an appointment with a doctor or nurse of your choice is like hens teeth and no patient should have to tell a receptionist or admin worker of why they are calling and or why they need to see a GP or Nurse that is between the doctor or nurse and the patient nothing to do with receptionist it’s a breach of confidentiality doctors and nurses should NOT be expecting patients to tell a non medical person such as a receptionist why they need to be seen that is just not on and totally unacceptable. Been phoning non stop for 2 days for my repeat prescription for which includes 2 different inhalers which I need Keeps saying I'm sorry this line is busy & hanging up, I must have phoned at least 10 times I pressed 1 to speak to someone re this & got the most awful receptionist , I've ever spoken to at Anchor Mill I explained the situation that my inhalers were Important, she said I could go into the surgery to order, I explained I could not at the moment as my elderly mother who has dementia & recently broke her hip is in h... read more
been on phone 52 minutes for repeat prescript. 20 of those at number 1. now been put back to general - call in a queue.. what happened? still waiting obv..
Absolutely shocking service phoned 8:30 no1 in the que stayed on line for exactly 45 min and gave up phone system is an absolute joke.
